Contact the Bench
Messages from readers are one of the best tools we have. A note saying "that setting has moved" or "you skipped a step" makes a guide better for everyone who reads it next. The form on this page opens your own email program with a message addressed to us, or you can write directly to mail@techstylecomputers.com.
Messages that help the most
- A step in one of our guides no longer matches what you see on screen.
- A link is broken, a name has changed or a date looks wrong.
- You have a computer, phone or software question that would make a useful article.
- You run a business and would like to propose a contributed article.
- You want to make a request about personal data, as described in Privacy at TechStyle.
Help us help you
If you are reporting a problem with a guide, a few details save a lot of back-and-forth:
- The address of the page, or its title.
- The device and system version you are using, for example "Android 15 on a Samsung phone" or "Windows 11 Home on a laptop". Our guide to checking computer specs shows where to find this.
- The step where things went differently, and what you saw instead.
Please do not send passwords, licence keys, bank details or screenshots that show private information. Nobody on the team needs them, and we won't request them.
What we cannot do
We are a small team of writers, not a repair service or a helpdesk. We cannot log in to your computer, fix a device remotely or sort out an account with a phone carrier, software company or streaming provider. For those problems, the company that supplied the product or a local repair shop is the right place to start. What we can do is check whether a guide needs fixing and, if enough readers ask about the same thing, write a new one.
When to expect a reply
We read every message. Corrections usually get the fastest attention because they affect other readers too. Suggestions for new guides go onto our list, and we reply when we have something useful to say rather than with an automatic acknowledgement.
Before you write
Your question may already have an answer. Fast Answers collects the questions readers send most often, and Tour the Toolkit shows where each topic lives in the archive.

About writing to us
What to expect when you get in touch.
Does the form send my message straight away?
No. It opens your own email program with our address filled in, so you can check the message and send it yourself.
Can you look at my device remotely?
We don’t offer remote support or repairs. We can check whether a guide needs fixing and point you to the kind of help that suits the problem.
Should I attach screenshots?
They help, as long as they show no passwords, account numbers or private messages. Crop anything personal out first.
Can my business contribute an article?
You can propose one. Tell us the topic and why it would help our readers; contributed pieces are edited to the same standard of clarity as our own.
